What the website doesn’t tell you is how wonderful, passionate, knowledgeable and generous Emily is and that she makes everything fun. What can I say, I loved every minute of my detox holiday I didn’t want to come home! My body is so much lighter and my skin is glowing. I’ve had so many compliments since I got back. My candida feels completely clear and I feel deeply rested, as if I have finally caught up from months of lack of sleep and adrenal fatigue.

I feel physically lighter but what’s even better is the clearing of my headspace. I had a lot of emotional baggage coming onto this trip and now I feel like I really let a lot of it go, which is truly a gift.

I came a bit tired and uninspired and left filled with spirit and creativity as well as a renewed love for my body and how I nourish it. I can't wait to come back and do it again!

Emily is so generous with her knowledge. I loved all the methods we learned and I will incorporate them into my daily life. I loved the written materials – very friendly, detailed, and accessible, they made the experience far more fun than expected. Every idea was presented and with so much love and dedication.

There is an immense amount of knowledge and love behind every detail of this program. The relationship you form with yourself during it goes way beyond the length of the retreat.

It is a unique experience that fills your soul. After finishing the detox program I increased my mental clarity and awareness of being in the present moment. I felt very clean inside and with a deep connection with myself. The whole experience was very uplifting on so many levels. I have been so lucky to share these experiences with my mom. It was our second time doing the retreat together. I am so grateful to Emily for sharing her knowledge and making this retreat possible. It is the best gift you can give yourself!

I enjoyed every minute of the whole experience. Emily, you generously and caringly leads us so that every detail was well organized, what a blessing to have you leading an ayurvedic retreat. Your cooking is delicious, even the juices were to look forward to! Plus you invented such variety, which made fasting totally doable and not get a desperate hunger or headache. And Kichic is divine!!! What a gorgeous, special place, all of it, the best location you could have possibly chosen for a retreat. The location, decor, yoga and massage space, and all the wonderful people who tended to us. I hope to do it every year.

Firstly I feel that my colon and my liver are clean, which to me was the main thing, to detox my physical body. But with it came an incredible change in energy and mood. Like a veil got lifted. You structure it so perfectly that even the hardest parts were easily accomplished. Emily, with all my heart a deeply felt GRACIAS!

It was an excellent week, a life-changing experience, the support and depth of the programme were amazing, extremely professional! Thank you so much for a wonderful experience!

The retreat was so much more than I expected. I never felt really hungry and the attention to detail was amazing. I came away better equipped and educated to pursue a healthier way of living. I feel much better and my entire digestive system is working better. I have been buying and eating some of the foods recommended and that we ate at the retreat. I have not had any sugar cravings and have not had any sugar since I have returned home.

The Amaveda retreat provided me with the opportunity to really embark on not just the physical detox experience, but to simultaneously dive deep into a state of pure observation, without judgement of my own healing process. I now have a deeper understanding of the tools available to me to live a healthier life with purpose and intention.

The retreat allowed me to see how good food and investing time in myself is so important in healing and rejuvenating the body. My gut feels cleaned out, I feel lighter, all body pains have subsided, I feel less overall tension and more relaxed, more flexible, overall less inflammation, and so far - no caffeine or sugar cravings!

I enjoyed everything about this retreat. I felt so taken care of and supported on every level. I loved the hotel and all of the staff. I loved Emily's playful spirit through it all. To me, she is a fountain of knowledge and I had fun picking her brain and having some good laughs even on the "tougher" days. I loved trying new things every day. Even if it was as simple as a cup of tea, we still tried something new every day. Emily introduced us to and taught us about different superfoods, barks, roots, and all around cool plants from around the world. I loved the dream workshop. I loved that napping and deep relaxation was on the top of my "to do" list and I got to do exactly that every day during the retreat. I love our Amaveda "goody bag" filled with amazing products and new tools to use throughout the retreat and beyond. I feel my mind/body connection so much stronger since I left, I have been receiving clear messages from my body and my digestive system is in top form. YAY!

One big shock was the high levels of energy I felt, especially while fasting! I literally had so much energy during the whole fast which has completely changed my relationship with food and my beliefs around how much I need to eat.

By the time I arrived, I had severe Candida and desperately need to improve and quickly. The transformation I experienced with my health, on many levels has been quite miraculous.

I believe being on this retreat has been nourishing and loving for the soul, body and mind. I had better results than I expected. I think that the most remarkable one is how I now relate to food now, past food addictions and just more awareness when I eat, I'm really taking care of my health. Thank you very much for your effort to make everything with love and care, it was perfect for me.
